For the first time, I felt very satisfied and grateful for the things that I bought during the IT Show fair.

It has been a while since I really bought anything during a fair and it was a last minute rush hour since it happen.

There was the external hard which I always wanted …. a dream WD MyBook 1 TB for SGD$169.90 for my laptop, a 2GB notebook ram (SGD$32) and a 2GB M2 memory card for my mobile phone for only SGD$13.50.

Overall, it was a satisfying evening.

The title might sound a bit ridulous to most but I’m not surprised if the are a few of visitors of this years IT Show (which is held at Suntec City) will be doing just that.

To top that, LCD TVs has their prices nose-dived and if someone were to say that they are going to get a 42 LCD TV for thie  laptop display ; I’m not particularly surprised.

Just take a look at the Panasonic TH-42PV8H  below.

This baby is now going down below the retail price of SGD$1299 !

As I was going through websites after websites, research on new stuffs that can be of help to my visitors here in my blog, I found out this new reference which can be very useful to everyone …… even though you are a novice in PC or laptop computing.

You can get a new laptop during this coming IT Show (which begins tomorrow) by simply trading in your old one.

PC Dreams - The One Stop Laptop Solutions will be having trade-in deals with Acer, Compaq, Lenovo and Dell (more brands might be available according to PC Dreams).

I have getting a few requests already on the pricelists during the IT Show and guess what ….. the show has yet started .

Since I have some of it …. well might as well.

The annual Singapore IT Show 2009 will open tomorrow morning at 11 am at Suntec City and you can rest assure that thousands of IT enthusiasts, consumers, gamers and freaks ( I’m one of them ), will be there in one of the spectacular events during this week.

Anyway to get the heat fired up before the opening, you can view the floorplan of the event right here on my blog !

The floor plan will showcase 2 levels [Level 4 & 6] - which will have the most shops btw, at Suntec City. So for those who are planning to go there with a plan in mind and have a knowledge on where your targeted shops/brands will be ….. check out the image gallery below …..

One of the expensive parts of maintaining a laptop is obviously the battery.

Laptop batteries can cost a bomb , if you ask me , and sometimes ifit is an old modal you might not have the luxury to find available in your nearest laptop store.

However, for those who are good in electronics, you may want to consider a cheaper alternative and hacking away your laptop batteries and save some bucks.
