It’s been close to a month since I did a post on this blog and I have receiving several e-mails and messages by some of my loyal readers asking me what’s going on.

Well …… I’m back now after a long absence and I’m gearing back to where I came from.

That is now ….. Laptop Info Today is BACK, cause I’m back ready to feed you with all the know-hows of the Tech world today. As I’ve said earlier, when I’m back, my product (which is Vista Unpublished) will back as well.

Web 2.0 is nothing new in the online world especially working with your laptop (how comfy )

But a Web 2.0 with search engine (like google) capabilities?

Well that’s something new.

Introducing Mahalo …… a new and social (web 2.0 style) search engine.

Being new to the scene, Mahalo is not as big as the current big giants like Google, Yahoo or MSN but their catch phrase attracts me.

Mahalo : Human Powered Search (We’re here to help) tells you how friendly their service can be as compared to the big players out in the online world.

You can gather as much information you want from News, Videos, How To Tutorials and many more at the Mahalo homepage.

It’s one of the friendliest search engine around, you can even create your own account even!

I was browsing the all of the broadcasts that were sent to me from BlogCatalog.com on my e-mail today (on my trusted Lenovo laptop) when I bumped into another contest organized by one the popular bloggers online: Collin De Ruyck from feedflare.ca aka konvictCollin at BlogCatalog.com.

I’ve checked it out and I say to myself “Why not give it a shot.”

His contest terms and conditions for the contest are pretty simple actually

1. You need to subscribe to his RSS feed via e-mail.
2. You need to write a post with 2 links directed back to Feedflare.ca (as you can see in this posts I have a couple already )

And that’s it.

The contest will end on April 1^st so you might want to rush down your entries for the contest.

Well I have not been online at BlogCatalog.com for a while, and boy, have things changed.

I have got a lot of new friends being added lately and some new faces dropping by, not to mention some familiar ones too.

One familiar blogger that has been visiting my Laptop Info Today blog has been Petr Hotovec with a nickntame “Hoto” at BlogCatalog.

His site (which I browsed via my laptop) ThaGuru.com is holding a contest which pays you $25, provided you are the winner. What you have to do is just write a post about this contest to enter.

As you can see, I’m entering this contest as well and you better hurry because this contest will end on the 30th April 2008.

All of this work can be done with the convenience of your laptop so what are you waiting for ……

I feel very wired this week, my blog “Laptop Info Today” has been hit by numerous spam comments from almost any hour of the day.

Actually I did not want to let go this post, but what the hell.

It’s been quite hectic, an average of 5 spam comments have hit this blog everyday for the past week.

Spam comments is nothing new to the Web 2.0 community and I was lucky enough to install akismet plugin before it really hit me bad.

Anybody facing this experience ….  drop me a comment ( and pls no spam )
