For the first time, I felt very satisfied and grateful for the things that I bought during the IT Show fair.

It has been a while since I really bought anything during a fair and it was a last minute rush hour since it happen.

There was the external hard which I always wanted …. a dream WD MyBook 1 TB for SGD$169.90 for my laptop, a 2GB notebook ram (SGD$32) and a 2GB M2 memory card for my mobile phone for only SGD$13.50.

Overall, it was a satisfying evening.

Yeah …. it is nearing.

The IT Show 2009 this year will be a Suntec City from 12 till 15 March 2009.

The time - 11pm till 9 pm.

There will be, as per normal, a big crowd expected for this event and once I will be definately be going there to get myself a portable hard disk (my current is loosing space by the minute ) .

I will be covering more of this and of course you can rely on myboxpro.com to bring the mirrors of the latest pricelists for all the gadgets in the show.

Sitex 2007 will open its doors tomorrow and bet you gonna see lots and lots of people rushing down like the world’s gonna crash down on top of you or something .

And for those who are not sure what is installed for tomorrow’s (till 2 Dec) , here are some of the snippets that you gonna get..

As expected lots of discounted goodies and gadgets that will come in to the event.

My tips on surviving the aftermath (Sitex 2007) :-

1) Always go to such an event with a buddy or in a group.

2) Observe and collect as many brochures as possible (within the first hour - do not make purchases during the first 30 minutes unless you are very sure what you want to get).

3) Sit down in a small corner and observe the brochures; make comparison and decide the best bargain for you. Call your personal experts to know more on a particular product, if necessary.

4) Don’t be fooled by sales-personnel sweet talking. Most are part timers anyway and worse still some might not really know what are the features of the products that are being offered.

5) Long crowds queue - a definite no….no….. unless you got the time .
