Hi guys, I have taking quite a lengthy break lately and at the same time I am quite preoccupied with my SharePoint projects at work as well.

Currently, I am still undergoing through my MCITP course  as a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 : Server Administrator certification and to tell you frankly I will posting some information on what I learn which might be useful for laptops and desktop users alike.

Well the whole of last month was quite something really.

Last week,  I received my first Google Adsense cheque; an amount of  SGD$159.51. It is the first cheque I’ve ever  received from Google after close to 3 years blogging.

If you are a frequent visitor of my blog, you will notice the new theme design that I’ve applied in this blog.

And you might be wondering why I ditched the UDB Moneymaker theme which was doing quite well with this blog. Personally, I like the UDB theme till 2 days ago.

Well, to make it even super …. this theme is made by me; my first ever wordpress theme.

To honestly speaking although I’m a techie guy, I’m not well versed with PHP so how do I make this theme without having PHP Essential knowledge?

Simple, it is down with a software called Artisteer.

Artisteer is a software specialized to making themes in a snap. It can be you are designing a Joomla template, Wordpress template, Drupal, ASP pages or just the basic html, Artisteer has got the tools to make it done simpler with no coding at all.

I was quite sceptical but I decided to give it a go.

I downloaded the trial yesterday and by today morning ( a total of 3 hours designing) I completed my design.

To get things done using a new software which you did not have knowledge on that is fast.

Hi guys, it’s been a long time ( a month actually) since I did any posting and to my fellow visitors, some might wonder what actually happens to me and all my new posts?

I’m back from the dead (to say the least) as I was pre-occupied with developments on the Windows SharePoint platform (MOSS) and my first ever experience with Rapidshare.

Due to all these activities, I kinda neglect a bit of my blogging and to tell you the truth ……. it’s been a hell of activities and experiences for the past month.

I would like to thank my fellow visitors for visiting this blog of mine and for some wonderful comments posted in this blog.

During the time, MYBOXPRO.com has an increased in Page Rank from PR 1 to PR2.

I’m very grateful for all the support given by my fellow visitors and for continuous tips and tricks, this site will continue to provide more of that.

I’m back and this site is back and who knows since I could even do a blog on SharePoint in the future .

Is your Search Engine Optimized?

Well that’s a question I asked myself sometimes when I’m doing this blog and it is especially important task for website owners (such as myself) out there.

I’ve just upgraded my blog, which is on the wordpress platform, to version 2.6.3.

When it comes to self-hosted blogs on wordpress platform, the normal time taken for and upgrade is about 5 minutes which is still quite a long time for me personally .

Being in the wordpress version 2.6.2, I am trying to find upgrading methods in less than a minute !

Unrealistic target from a techie guy, you might but it is actually not.

I’ve upgraded 2 blogs (this one and IzzyRocks.net in less than a minute ! ).

How do I do it?

Let’s begin.

You need 2 files to be downloaded to your computer first.

1. class-snoopy.php
2. version.php

Once you have downloaded both files, open up your ftp program (in this case I use Filezilla client).

Upload the 2 files to your wp-includes directory. You will be prompted whether you wanted to override the existing files. Click OK to override.

Once both files have been uploaded, refresh your wordpress dashboard and you have successfully perform your wordpress upgrade.

That is right.

Hi guys and it’s been a very long while since I update anything on this blog, not to mention my other sports blog as well at Latest Magpies News. I’ve been utterly busy with schedules till I’m unable to find any time at all to do something on my blog.

To my loyal readers out there => My sincere apologies to keep you all waiting for new updates.

I’ve also recently released an online book as well, something I’ve mentioned before which is “VISTA UNPUBLISHED“.

It took quite a while to release this book and on top of that facing numerous interruption in making the site, marketing it and others…….

But one thing that is a problem when creating this book from my laptop is packaging it.
