Laptop Shoot Out At The IT Show 2008
Yes, that’s right.
Laptop manufacturers are gunning it again this time as the IT Show fair starts next week 6 till 9 March 2008.
As expected the notebook computer sector will drive consumers in numbers as popular brands like Fujitsu, Acer, Apple, MSI, Lenovo, LG, HP and Asus will be there to showcase their top-end and bargain notebooks at astounding prices.
What I’ll be checking out has definately be the MSI GX600 (which I previously reviewed), the first time ever appear on this Lion City.

Not to miss are brands like Apple ….. showcasing the MacBook Air (the world’s thinnest notebook) at a very special price!

Is The Eee PC The Next Generation Laptop?
Is what I mentioning in the title of this post is true?
Well …… maybe but not with a sonic boom though
For those of you who are unfamiliar, the Eee PC is a smaller kind of notebook introduced by one of the notable brands in the computer world, ASUS.
Asus has recently introduced the Eee PC brand and, from my point of view, it is not a bad offering by them.
The Eee PC was showcased earlier this year at the CES 2008 in Las Vegas and to top it all up, it actually received a great response for this tiny machine.
I’ll be doing an in-depth review on one the Eee PCs later in future but for those of you who might not figure out what the actual Eee PC is; here’s a segment by Unwired for you guys to check out.
Asus Released 1 TeraByte Notebook!
Yes, you heard it right.
It was at this premier event (CES 2008 in Las Vegas) that Asus, one of the leading notebook makers in the world, unveil the gem of the new year.
The M70 and M50 are the 2 models designed to have this mighty storage capacity.
However the difference between these 2 models apart from the rest is that, the Asus M50 and M70 are using 2 (500Gb) to meet up the storage needed as per required.
Well, this simply means that normal notebooks are using 1 hard disk; these 2 models are using 2 hdds!
The M50 is stated to have a 15.4 inch LCD display, wherelse the M70 has a 17 inch.
As the you can see, this is a much anticipated notebook and may as well be a great replacement to the desktop in the near future.
