New Browser In Laptops By Google

There’s been a lot of hype recently regarding Google Chrome - the new browser that is set to replace the desktop.
That is what is being said on the official site.
Google launch their new browse (currently in beta stage) to the public for testing.
I, being me, will always be excited on what’s new so I decided to give it a test.
The installation is pretty staight forward like any normal windows installation file.
The browser itself is a totally new alien.

If you can see from the picture above, the browser is indeed a cleaner interface that some some browsers pack with plugins and add-ons.
However that is what bothers me though. Google has gone into experimentation and make it absolute prototype which may make users stay away from this browser.
First - Unlike Firefox and IE, the browser based on one-click for bookmarking or favorites. This is a bit of confusing as the average user normally may want to rename and organize their bookmarks based on their preferences.
Second - Plugins and add-ons support will be far less or none at the moment. Users will definately remain with IE or Firefox in this situation.
Third - Options menu aren’t as user-friendly as IE and Firefox.
With all the negativity surrounding this browser there’s a light to all of these darkness.
It is fast and furious as compared to IE, Firefox, Opera or Safari.
This is the main advantage I can think of at the moment.
I’ll be testing further tomorrow and I’ll be posting some of my findings in the future posts of this blog.
Till next post …..
