We all know that Google is the best search engine in the market today but sometimes when it come to narrowing the items you really want can be a pain.

I personally use Google and I still believe that it is still the best till I meet “SortFix“.

What is actually “SortFix“?

Well I personally believe everyone will and still use Google…. it’s the recommended and best Internet engine out there.

But if you really want to focus on narrowing down your search item, I recommend you use “SortFix”

The next question has always been “Why SortFix“?

Here’s an example:-
I’m doing a search on “metal music, like in the figure below.

If i just run a normal search on Google without filtering …. I will get some 5,530,000 results based on the keywords “Metal Music” .

And I can tell you this ….. normal the sites index in the first page is normally not I wanted.

SortFix will somehow fix that.

From the above picture, there’s 4 colored boxes.

Power Search (grey box)- all related keywords associate with the search you’ve just typed.

Add To Search (green box) - adding related/associate keywords to your searched item from the “Power Search” box.

Remove (red box) - filter unrelated keywords from the “Power Search” box.

Dictionary (blue box) - an online dictionary to give you the defination of a keyword from the “Power Search” box.

After you have keyed your search item, you can just drag and drop from the “Power Search” to the Add To Search or Remove to enhance your desired search preference.

Just as the figure above, I’ve added “hard rock/metal” and “reviews” keywords to narrow down my search and removed keywords “compare prices” and “encyclopedia”.

This means, I want to filter out searches that contains “compare prices” and “encyclopedia”.

To add and remove keywords, simply drag and drop the types of keywords from the “Power Search” box.

Press the “Search” box again.

After you press the “Search” button again, you will realize that you have narrowed your searched item from millions to thousands.

Now your search is more defined…..
