Yeah ….. its the kill word alright, every users nightmare.

Actually I have only decided to “F” my laptop yesterday as my patience with linux came to an end …….

My friend dropped by my place yesterday night and wanted to test out his Vodafone modem; its a Huawei brand for “broadband anywhere” plan he had signed up recently.

I was still using PCLinuxOS at that time though at one time I feel like giving up on the distro and thinking of trying Ubuntu.

I was connecting this device via terminal, reading lots of forums and after 3 hours of trying, still unable to get the modem connected to the internet.

After my friend left, I’ve decided to revert back to its original operating system that is Windows XP.  I feel enough is enough at the moment for linux and I’m glad to be back home in Windows.

It’s been an experience but I’ll stick to Windows from now on …….
