There’s been such a buzz recently on portable applications, if you might have noticed.

Well …… let’s first define portable applications or portable apps in short.

Portable apps allows you to run your favourites programs (program files) by merely using a thumbdrive or flash drive.

Which means, if you’re a designer and need to finish up your work by using other computer which does not have that particular program file such as Adobe Falsh Professional for example, you can have that program file in your thumbdrive and still have that particular application working in any computer.

There are some pros and cons regarding this however

First for the user ….. it will be cool to run all of your favourite programs by just have your portable disk or thumbdrive . It makes work so portable and efficient that way.

However , this can e be classified as illegal as software manufacturers have yet created any software that is portable. 

Most portable apps that you find on the net nowadays are basically a stripped down of the real thing ….. It might be better or worse.
