Eco-Innovative Laptops By LG
Korea’s very own, LG, has leaked out pre-design laptops but has yet affirm a release date on their new environment friendly laptop dubbed the E-Book.
This concept machine has the ability to use less electricity due to change in the LCD hardware that it utilise. Unlike nomal which uses LCDs, this laptop is said to be powered by biofuel cell with organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) as its display. It even doesn’t need a frame to hold the display !
There’s also a change in the battery as it powered by natural gas, methanol, and other eco-friendly liquid fuels pack in a cylindrical hinge instead of the normal Li-Ion batteries.

Even though it has yet been released, this concept laptop has won the Red Dot Award, a German prize for industrial design, and you get a first glimpse of its usage in the next 007 : James Bond (Quantum of Solace) movie coming out very soon.


It looks as though environmentally-friendly products are becoming economically viable, as more companies are joining the movement in order to acquire the gains that are coming with it. Pointing out that one’s laptop is low on environmental cost is the new way to get more sales.
