Filed Under (Notebook Greetings, Notebook Money, Notebook Reviews) by Mohd Fauzi A Rahman on 30-03-2008

Hi & Welcome to Laptop Info Today. Get Info on notebooks and notebook news that concern you. Enter your e-mail address to receive a free gift or you can subscribe to my RSS feeds for more updates. Hope you enjoy your visit and come back often for more news updates, gifts and downloads.

I was browsing the all of the broadcasts that were sent to me from BlogCatalog.com on my e-mail today (on my trusted Lenovo laptop) when I bumped into another contest organized by one the popular bloggers online: Collin De Ruyck from feedflare.ca aka konvictCollin at BlogCatalog.com.

I’ve checked it out and I say to myself “Why not give it a shot.”

His contest terms and conditions for the contest are pretty simple actually

  1. You need to subscribe to his RSS feed via e-mail.
  2. You need to write a post with 2 links directed back to Feedflare.ca (as you can see in this posts I have a couple already :D )

And that’s it.

The contest will end on April 1st so you might want to rush down your entries for the contest.

You might want to check out his site to know more RSS and social marketing and that is at feedflare.ca.

ThaGuru Contest Post Via My Laptop

Filed Under (Notebook Money, Notebook News, Notebook Talk) by Mohd Fauzi A Rahman on 29-03-2008

Well I have not been online at BlogCatalog.com for a while, and boy, have things changed.

I have got a lot of new friends being added lately and some new faces dropping by, not to mention some familiar ones too.

One familiar blogger that has been visiting my Laptop Info Today blog has been Petr Hotovec with a nickntame “Hoto” at BlogCatalog.

His site (which I browsed via my laptop) ThaGuru.com is holding a contest which pays you $25, provided you are the winner. What you have to do is just write a post about this contest to enter.

As you can see, I’m entering this contest as well :D and you better hurry because this contest will end on the 30th April 2008.

Post him the link of your exact url at his comment page here to notify him (Petr Hotovec) that you are entering his contest.

All of this work can be done with the convenience of your laptop so what are you waiting for ……

I Sold 2 NEC E6300 Laptops!

Filed Under (Notebook Events, Notebook Hardware, Notebook Money, Notebook Operating System, Notebook Reviews, Notebook Talk) by Mohd Fauzi A Rahman on 11-03-2008

Well not really though.

I had 2 working colleagues of mine who wanted to get themselves a personal laptop and need me to be their adviser. ( :) I feel like a V.I.P somehow)

Anyway I’ve been going through the lists of brochures from all the booths ….. and boy it’s hard to make a decision, mind you.

Normally I will narrow down to 3 models based the value-for-money criteria due to the fact my friends aren’t gamers and they are basically getting a new notebook for surfing for office work purposes.

I had to bring my 3 year old son along on that day which were packed with enthusiastic buyers gunning for the bargain items on display. Then after much research I had recommended both my friends the NEC E6300 notebook.

Check out the specs below:-

Intel Centrino Duo CPU processing at 2.0GHz, 160GB of Hard disk space, 3GB Ram (after free upgrade), 2.0 megapixels in-built webcam, Bluetooth and Wireless (G) networking built-in, interactive touchpad & hotkeys, DVD-Dual Layer built in and it comes with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

Well the shock part is, this 14.1 inch notebook that weighs about 2.38kg cost about SGD$1499.

And that’s not all, apart from its white-leathery finishing on the back of the LCD, it comes together with freebies such as cleaning kit, an optical mouse, a NEC laptop bag and a free one-year subscription of Norman anti-virus.

I’m pleased that my friends were happy on that day, and why not they got a steal of a deal!

My son and I also enjoy the atmosphere very much on that day ….. and it’s been quite an experience.

A Laptop Can Earn You Cash!

Filed Under (Notebook Money, Notebook Reviews) by Mohd Fauzi A Rahman on 15-02-2008

I knew when people read the title of this blog post, everyone might be wondering what type or make or even which operating system notebook computer can help me make earn that green bucks?

I can tell you this.

The notebook computer that you are currently using; whether it’s a 12.1, 14.1 or 15.4 inches LCD display or whether it’s is running on Microsoft Windows, Linux or Mac OSX, all of them can earn you cash.

Does it sound too good to be true.

Well not really though.

If you are a blogger like me, PayPerPost can help you just that: Get cash for the things you love doing … blogging.

It’s like this actually, you post your article and they’ll review it. Once it is approved, they will pay you the bucks.

PayPerPost is a good platform for bloggers to make cash with the blogging skills they’ve attained during their experience. What I like about PayPerPost (put aside the money issue for a while) is the experience of reviewing advertiser’s products via opportunities and being attached in a community of bloggers who are doing the same thing as well (Blogging). When you are attached to a community of bloggers you will be able to make friends worldwide while learning and sharing blogging experiences with one another at the same time.

Well, I would like to recommend my fellow visitors to sign up for a PayPerPost because I believe it is worth the effort. Furthermore, you will be enjoying blogging and monetizing your blog at the same time.
