Who Says A Laptop Is Not Meant For Gaming?

I’ll be doing a review on the MSI GX600 gaming notebook soon.

In the meantime enjoy this video.

Tune Your Laptop To The Max!

I been experimenting a few softwares recently on my Lenovo Y300 notebook and there’s suddenly a need for me to try out this software.

Why the urge you wonder?

Well, I’ve been looking around for Norton Utilities that actually supports Windows Vista, however, there isn’t any yet.

The highlight of this has always been Windoctor, it has been my companion for years and when I check at Symantec’s site for the next Windoctor, the newest thing that they can provide me is Norton 360.

That’s down and I’m not talking about System Of A Down ….

Norton 360 does not include Norton Utilities, especially Windoctor.

I’ve been browsing a lot of sites and came across TuneUp Utilities 2007!

Don’t Turn Your Laptop Into A Zombie.

I’ve always advice my peers on this issue, but sometimes they made a mistake again and again, especially with selecting an anti-virus software for their notebook.

Since there’s so many anti-virus softwares in the market, I think the best things to note for newbies or normal users on how to safeguard your notebook are these 10 pointers.

Help! My PC Screwed Me

Ever get that feeling when you have so much data and suddenly one day your desktop pc or notebook computer fails to respond.

It sucks …… down on upside (reminds me of the last Soundgarden album).

Well now, we have the luxury of Knoppix Live, a linux distribution which can be a saviour to your problem.

Next question one will ask, ” I don’t have any experience in Linux, how to do?”

Spriral Frog To Rival iTunes?

Apple will have a new competitor on the digital music industry when Spiral Frog is on board.

However Spiral Frog is only available for US and Canada residents.

I am sure this new competition will provide better value for consumers and as experts predict it, iTunes will have all their work cut up as a lot of new sites offering digital music are branding themselves heavily since the closure of AlllofMp3.com.

With Russia’s sister site Mp3Sparks.com making waves, Spiral Frog providing stiff competition (not to mentioned their alliances with EMI recently) , will iTunes still be the number 1 distributor for digital music?

PC Fundamentals

The computer has something called the registry which runs behind the scenes and handles a number of important functions for our ease of use. You might want to call it the “backbone” or skeleton of the whole Windows system. The smoother the registry functions, the lesser headaches you will get. That is why the user should clean your registry and how to do it easily and most important safely.

What Is The Registry:
Its main job is task handling. It maintains the user profiles, records operational data for most of your software applications, and it even tells your computer which software to launch whenever the user first turn boot up your computer. It is based on your commands which you execute.

Maintenance Is Important:
The reason why most people have never seen their registry is because it is a self-maintaining application, a background service (if you might want to call it) and under normal conditions it can do its job just fine without any direct human intervention. However, just a car, there is certain period of time that your registry requires regular maintenance in order to perform well for you.
Because data is written to and erased from your computer registry scores of times each day, it can accumulate hundreds or thousands of errors or “problems.” These errors can seriously erode the performance of your computer by causing it to run less efficiently or even causing it to break down.

How to Clean It:
There are thousands of applications out there and for a beginner what is best for the user will be spoil for choices, worse he or she did not know which ones to choose.
The best way to check out good cleaning programs to search user reviews from the internet. Online reviews from users particular are important as you do not want to choose or buy something which is hyped but in the end never does what it suppose to be doing.

Find some good registry software, and install the software to your desktop or notebook pc. Let it run the scan and. You’ll be amazed at the state of pc is in. The whole operation should take less than about 10 minutes to complete depends on the clock speed of your processor of the state of condition your pc is in. Some software might require you reboot your pc once the whole process ended.

The user will be smiling as his or her pc will be rocking your world and running applications much faster than before. The main key is maintenance is the way to sustain the state of the computer.
